If you're a bit late off the mark, and still don't have yourself an advent calendar, why not use this weekend to make your own? It's another great activity to do with the littlies, and you can avoid that cheap and nasty chocolate that usually comes in them (try a sticker or little toy if you don't want to go the chocolate option, but I know my toddler loves a bit of Haighs!).
